Advantages
- Excellent anticratering power on the coated film
- Excellent wetting and dispersing effect on filler and pigments.
- Good flow and levelling properties.
- Good film appearance and recoatable properties.
Applications
- ED-paints
- Anionic and cationic coatings
- Water based coatings.
- Urethane, acrylic, epoxy, polyester, alkyd etc.
- Water based any other coatings and inks oxies.
Recommended Amounts and Incorporation Methods
- In coating systems, Rheoflow DXW-4040 can be added 2~8% of delivery form
on the resin solid. Usually it is added the CED bath directly under stirring.
And also it can be added to the resin before the dispersion.
Storage
Water containing resins may freeze at temperatures below 0°C or become inhomogenous.
Rheoflow DXW-4040 does not suffer any damage from it, the necessary regeneration
depends however on a warmth treatment at 40°C~50°C while stirring. Therefore,
such products should be stored away from frost. At temperatures till 30°C the
storage stability of the originally packed product is at least 3 months.
