Description
Rheoflow DS-1100 reduces plastisol viscosity of inorganic pigments
and fillers.
It reduces the interfacial tension between the hydrophylic pigments/extenders
and the hydrophobic plasticizers, forming a lattice structure with the pigments
at the same time. And also it effects the controlled flocculation of pigments
and extenders.

Advantages
- Reduces viscosity of inorganic pigments and fillers.
- Allows a higher pigment loading.
- Improves color strength and shortens dispersion time.
- Has a very low yield point for improved flow and levelling.
Applications (Powder coating)
- Plastisol based on inorganic pigments.
- Plastisol based on organic pigments.
- Plastisol based on inorganic fillers.
Recommended Amounts and Incorporation Methods
- On total formulation, 1% ~ 7% of delivery form.
- Test criteria could be the paste viscosity, the fineness of grind or the
color strength. The additives should be added to the liquids before the incorporation
of the solids.
